We had a feeling...

That the Black Eyed Peas concert was going to be a good night. It turned out to be a GREAT night- they really know how to put on a show, complete with tons of lights and crazy robot outfits. The concert was at the 02 Arena, the same place we saw the Slavia hockey game and where a few of us will spend the night dancing for Sensation White next weekend- we are getting quite familiar with it!

After an opening by Cheryl Cole, BEP came storming onto the stage with “Let’s Get it Started,” and from that point the songs just kept on coming. Fergie and will.i.am also performed their solo pieces. Me, Emily, Anny, Ana and Julia had a great time dancing together, even though it was way up in the balcony… and even though we had a final due the next day! Priorities. (It was a late night/early morning back home though…)

Although we could have seen the Peas back home, it was definitely a cool experience to see them abroad. It was their first time performing in Prague, and the crowd went nuts for them. It was funny though, because most of the crowd didn’t actually understand the words… but they sang along to all of them!

Our favorite song, made up by will.i.am, goes something like this = “I like the girls in Prague, Czech Republic girls are the prettiest, prettiest, Yeah I like the girls in Prague, Czech Republic girls are the prettiest…” Catchy. We were honorary Prague girls for the night and cheered just as loud as the rest of them, but getting excited to be back home with all you!
